I found out I had malicious software on the laptop by scheduling a boot up search on avast. Avast Full System Scan Stuck At 0 Fault In Our Starsġ1. It didn't have any code or anything written on it.

Sometime or another I got a red screen when I tried to turn the laptop on. I took it into safe mode and tried what I could.

At this point, my theme was changed, nothing was working and my computer wouldn't load anything.ĩ. From fixing the keys to deleting programs, I even tried to 'Backup and Restore' the computer But no matter what I did, IT KEPT GIVING ME ERRORS*.Ĩ. I looked up everything on Microsoft and tried it. I would try to turn it on, and IT WOULD NOT LET ME*.ħ. NOTHING WOULD WORK* I tried to load windows defender, it would say the program was turned off. I started to panic at this point, upset and hopeless. It would get about 50% of the way and stop.Ħ. Well, I tried this, but it WOULD NOT UNINSTALL. They said to uninstall it, reboot it, and repeat until avast started to work again. However, when I went to run a full thorough scan, it wouldn't start up (it'd be stuck at 0% and never progress).ĥ. I ran a quick scan, it said there was nothing to be found. Thinking I had a virus, I downloaded the free version of Avast. It would jump from taking about 5 seconds to open a page to 5 whole minutes just to load up the start button.Ĥ. I think there may have been a bad cc, because after that night, my computer started lagging and running very slowly. Earlier this week, Microsoft confirmed that the Windows 10 official launch date will be on July 29 and will be available as a free upgrade to Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users (for one year).ģ. Latest versions of Avast compatible with Windows 10. I downloaded Origin (Sims 4), and some custom content for the game. I have a Toshiba laptop, very old, but worked fine.Ģ. I'll try to make it as brief as possible.ġ.
